Psychology and Counselling Clinics

A young couple sitting on a couch, talking to a psychologist, sitting on the opposite site of the room.

UniSQ's Toowoomba and Ipswich’s Psychology and Counselling Clinics offer an exciting opportunity for our postgraduate psychology students to gain hands-on experience while making a real difference in the community. These clinics provide psychological therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults at a substantially reduced rate.

UniSQ postgraduate psychology students, who are provisionally registered psychologists, deliver these services under the expert supervision of clinical psychologists. Final semester counselling interns also offer counselling services, guided by experienced clinical supervisors.

This work-integrated learning experience allows students to apply their advanced studies in real-world settings, working with diverse populations and gaining invaluable skills. All services are supervised by UniSQ staff who are qualified counsellors or clinical psychologists, ensuring high-quality care and professional development.
